I'm not usually into this type of music, but I thought it felt really catchy. I could seriously picture myself dancing to this. I think this song would do great in the clubs and I'm sure everybody would be working up a sweat on the dance floor.

I'm gonna keep my eye out for more urban stuff like this I can Salsa dance too!

If your partnership is exclusive, but now you are starting to wonder if it was a good idea, there are some things you should consider.

First think about why your Salsa dance partner is no longer a good fit for you. Is someone else telling you that you need to move on? It depends on who is telling you this, but consider that they might not have the best insights.

Is your dance partner diligent and hard-working? Does your partner try their best on the dance floor? Are they fast learners or at least continuously willing to learn? These are some great qualities that you shouldn’t ignore.

On the other hand, what if your Salsa dance partner is impatient or maybe has a very short attention span. This couldn’t be good for you, but these are characteristics that can be worked on. Maybe you should talk to your dance partner and see where each of you can really help each other. What are your strong points and what are your weak points? Work on these together and see where the partnership goes.

Some other questions you should ask yourself before cutting your partner loose:

What are your goals as a dancer?
Can you reach those goals with your current partner?
Do you and your dance partner get along?
Can your weaknesses be helped by your dance partner?

These question may help you further understand the underlying problem, or maybe even lack thereof.

And if they aren’t as well-defined of a Salsa dancer as you are, you should allow them some time to see where the partnership grows and to what point it develops.

If you really feel that your Salsa dance partner is holding you back, discuss it with them. If you feel so strongly, they probably feel the same way.

Remember that a great dancing relationship with your partner will always result in the greatest performances. If you don’t get along, it’ll show to your audience.
